The portable digital refractometer measures the salinity of natural or artificial seawater. Simple operation gives reliable results each and every time. Results are displayed in four popular measurement units: salinity in parts per thousands (ppt), chlorinity in parts per thousands (ppt), specific gravity and refractive index.
All readings are automatically compensated for temperature variations and displayed within a 2 second response time. The sealed glass prism and stainless steel well are easy to clean. Just wipe with a soft cloth in preparation for the next sample.
